ReleasesThe aim of the jerome project is
1) integrate the deuterocanonicals into sword.
2) have a release of jerome that only has Catholic software.
Currently we have a version of sword which Khoi Pham developed that patches the deuterocanonicals and is a Catholic release. But this is not compatible with the current sword. This software has Khoi's splash screen etc, ie developed by the 'St. Jerome Biblical Foundation'. In honour of Khoi and his work, we named the project Jerome. The window's version and Mac version will have other saint names.
We are developing our own version with the cathnet.org logo and calling it jerome, so we can stock it with only Catholic modules, including the Catechism. To this end we will follow the following principals.
Plan A
1) maintain compatibility with sword.
2) create our own spash screen etc.
3) stock it with Catholic modules.
4) release jerome on the world.
