Administration

How cathnet.org is administered

This website is for members, thus members should be given as much use of the site as reasonable. Reasonable means, giving access to features that they need, to prevent as time goes on, a loss of security and future vulnerability.

This page will address roles, responisibilities and features matrix.


The following features are open to all and are separate features.

1) cathnet.org membership. All registered members can add information to the help section.
2) svn read access
3) mailing list membership
4) myauscath.info membership.

The following are levels of involvement.

Team membership
1) The team admin should join the team member to that group. This will give
       a) write access to the team space
       b) write access to any project space
       c) write access to any product space
2) svn write access if need be

Team leadership
1) ssh access. This will allow
       a) the team leader to give svn write access to members
2) website management
       a) to be able to give a member, team membership by joining that member into the necessary group.
       b) to add links, improve the website at will.

Cathnet administrators
1) access to all features to develop the whole project.
